Gardaí in Co Wexford say the death of a woman whose skeletal remains were found is not being treated as suspicious




Gardaí in Co Wexford have confirmed that they are not treating the death of a woman whose skeletal remains were found on Monday as suspicious.

In a statement Gardaí said the discovery of the remains Ballyandrew, is not being treated as suspicious following a post-mortem examination at University Hospital Waterford.

It is believed the woman who is originally from Italy, was sleeping rough in the Ferris area.

Gardai say the woman aged in her 50s may have died following a suspected heart attack.
