Gardaí in Limerick launch major investigation after a 13 year old boy was held at knifepoint in his home




Gardaí in Limerick have launched a major investigation after a young boy was at knifepoint by an intruder in his home.

The young boy age 13 was reportedly home alone when the male intruder entered the house in Limerick city and threatened him with knife. Gardaí say the man subsequently threatened the boy by saying he would stab him unless he showed him where valuables in the house were kept.

It is believed the location of the house and the identity of the family have not been released by Gardaí, for safety reasons. The shocking incident occurred at approximately 7pm last Tuesday evening.

Thankfully the boy did not suffer any injuries during the incident.
