Gardai in Dublin are investigating the circumstances leading to the fall of a toddler from an apartment balcony in Tyrrelstown, Dublin, yesterday evening.
It is understood that a 2-year-old girl fell from a height at her home. She was rushed to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.
Gardai say that there appears to be no foul play involved, and are treating the event as a tragic accident.
