Gardaí in Limerick have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed overnight.
It is believed the incident happened on the Ballycummin Road in Raheen at approximately 2.30am this morning.
Gardaí say the man was quickly rushed to University Hospital Limerick with a number of stab wounds. He currently remains in stable condition in hospital.
They also say they have arrested two men in connection with the incident.
