Gardaí investigation underway after the body of a man is discovered at house in Co Waterford

Gardaí in Co Waterford have launched an investigation after the body of a man was discovered in Ardkeen, this afternoon.

It is believed the man who was aged in his 30s was discovered at a house at Appian Close at approximately 1.30pm.

Gardaí say the man’s body has since been transferred a nearby hospital were a post mortem examination will take place, they also say the scene remains cordoned off in order for a forensic examination to take place.
