Gardaí issue an appeal for dangerous euthanising to be returned after it was stolen from a veterinary clinic in Co Wicklow

Gardaí in Wicklow have begun an investigation and issued a plea to a group of people who stole a Land Rover in Enniskerry to return it immediately as it contains a number of deadly poisons.

The appeal comes after the vehicle a 10D registration black Land Rover Discovery containing an euthanising agent was stolen last Friday 28th April between 6.30pm and 7.40pm.

Gardaí say the vehicle or its contents must be returned immediately as it contained four 100 millilitre clear bottles of a red fluid called ‘Dolethal’ pentobarbital.

The highly dangerous poison is widely used by veterinarians to euthanise small animals.

Gardaí are urging anyone with any information to contact them at Bray on 01 6665800, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
