Gardai issue fresh appeal to the public in the search for Limerick man Matthew Carroll

Gardaí in Limerick have issued an appeal for information in regards to a man who went missing 20 years ago.

The fresh appeal comes after the man Matthew Carroll aged 30-years-old at the time of his disappearence went missing on June 8th 1998.

Gardaí say Matthew was last seen outside the Steering Wheel Pub at Roxboro Shopping Centre in Co Limerick.

It is understood Matthew was seen between the hours of 7pm and 8pm walking towards his mother’s home at Rose Court, Keyes Park.

Matthew is described as being as 5ft 4” in height, weighing ten stone and of a slim build.

Matthew also has fair hair and  blue eyes.

When he was last seen Matthew was wearing a black top, black jeans, and deck shoes.
