Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding a blaze that broke out at a vacant hotel earmarked to house a number of immigrants in Rooskey, Co. Leitrim.
The 39-room Shannon Key West hotel, which was due to come under new ownership this week, went on fire on Thursday evening. The blaze caused severe damage to the building.
A number of sources claimed to have seen people breaking a window just before the fire started.
