Gardaí in Co Louth have begun an investigation this morning after a robbery at a bingo hall last night.
Reports say the hall on Racecourse Road, Dundalk was raided by four men armed with a hammer at approximately 9pm.
It is believed the assailants threatened staff and took a significant amount of cash before escaping in a silver car.
Gardaí are urging anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact them at Dundalk Garda station.
