Gardai have launched an investigation after an armed man entered a Centra shop in Sligo and threatened staff.
The incident happened at the Centra shop on the Knappagh Road in Sligo yesterday evening.
The man took a small amount of cash and fled on foot.
Nobody was injured during the incident, but staff were left shaken.
