Gardai have launched an investigation after a taxi was hijacked at knife-point in Drogheda earlier today.
It is understood that two men travelling in a taxi demanded cash and the driver’s phone.
The men then forced the driver out of the vehicle, a 2010 Silver Toyata Verso, and drove off. The driver was unharmed.
Gardai are asking witnesses or anyone with information to contact Drogheda garda station, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
