Gardaí say they expect to make further arrests in the wake of the recent London terrorist attack.
The news comes after two arrests were made yesterday in Limerick and Wexford respectively.
A spokesperson for the Gardaí said the possibility of further arrests come as they are working to identify the activities, addresses and associates of one of the attackers Rachid Redouane who lived in Ireland between 2014 and 2016.
Both Garda and British police have stepped up their efforts in the past 48 hours after Redouane was found with an Irish identity card on him after he was shot dead by police on Saturday night.
