Gardaí in Co Meath are currently searching for a group of men following a robbery in Athboy this morning.
The manhunt comes after a group consisting of three to four men robbed a post office in the town at approximately 9am this morning.
It is believed the group which included one man armed with an axe threatened staff before fleeing with a large quantity of cash.
Gardai say the group fled the scene in a vehicle which was later found burnt out at junction 9 on the M3.
They also say one member of staff received minor injuries during the robbery.
