Gardai have scored a major victory against the drug trade in Ireland, after seizing a weapon and over €1m worth of drugs in the Finglas area of Dublin.
Officers observed a weapon being handed over between two vehicles in Finglas. Both vehicles were later stopped and searched.
Gardai arrested a 31-year-old man and a 53-year-old female during the operation, which later yielded amounts of cocaine and heroine worth almost €1m.
