Gardaí in Co Louth have revealed that a large quantity of cash was seized as part of an operation targeting organised crime.
It is understood the seizure was made in the Mell area of Drogheda.
Gardai say a total of €270,000 and a quantity of drugs worth €5,000 was also seized.
They added that no arrests have yet been made.
