This morning, both Yes and No campaigners have condemned images depicting a man and two women photographed removing Vote No posters in Dublin.

Images recorded by a passerby show two women holding a makeshift ladder while their male friend climbed the ladder, cut the plastic tie and removed the posters.

The illegal act happened this week in Thomas St in Dublin.

One Yes voter said “Leave them up, it’s illegal to remove them and we need an insight into how the No camp are thinking so we can debate them properly. This type of ‘help’ is help we don’t need”.

A No campaigner said of the act “It’s disgraceful, democracy itself is at risk with this type of behaviour. Obviously the Yes side can’t win on debates so they’re trying to shut us up. It won’t happen, things have only begun”.
