The politicians aren’t doing anything about the homeless crisis so it takes a good old fashioned Dublin woman to step up to the plate, along with her Lotto jackpot that is.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, has vowed to help combat the homeless after she picked up her €500,000 Lotto jackpot at Lotto Headquaters in Dublin.
She claims that the win is for all the homeless people of Dublin who haven’t got a bed to sleep in at night. She continued that it breaks her heart seeing so many homeless people on the streets with nowhere to go and that this is her chance to make a difference.
She said she was going to visit the many homeless shelters in the City celebrating her win by dishing out so much needed funds.
The lucky lady won the DailyMillion plus prize on Saturday the 25th of February and she celebrated in style by drinking champagne in the Shelbourne hotel.
