Unfortunately Ger died on Holy Thursday as a result of cystic fibrosis. Ger’s wife Grainne spoke candidly about how beneficial it is for people to donate organs when they pass.
A video of Ger’s best friend Brian O’Sullivan has gone viral online. The video shows Brian singing the famous Killers song “Mr Brightside” atop the bar in Falveys pub in Killorglin on the day of Ger’s funeral in honour of his friend.
