A senior military official involved in the investigation into the passenger plane crash yesterday in French Alps which killed almost 150 people has said that one of the pilots was locked out of the cockpit prior to the crash.
He said:
“The pilots had a smooth conversation for the first part of the flight, then one left and couldn’t get back in.”
“The guy outside is heard knocking lightly on the door and there is no answer. And then he hits the door stronger and no answer again. Then you can hear he is trying to break the door down.”
Nothing is being ruled out while the investigation is underway.
