It may be just over four months to Christmas but parents nationwide are already planning ahead for the big day especially when Santy arrives down the chimney.
Over the past week cash strapped parents have been given a helping hand as the popular UK toy chain Toys R Us launched its annual Christmas payment plan to help those prepare for the festive season.
The plan which has been successful in recent years offers parents the chance to pay for their toys on a weekly basis up until Christmas as long as they pay a 20% deposit at time of set up plus along with £5 administration fee, there are also no interest rates are charged.

The scheme which has been welcomed by many parents allows customers to purchase any items they wish including video games, games consoles, toys and bikes.
The offer also extends to the chain’s Babies R Us range.
Although there are no Toys R Us chains in the Republic of Ireland, there are currently four outlets in Northern Ireland.
