The onset is winter is almost officially upon us, as the clocks are set to go back this weekend.
Daylight Saving Time rules dictate that clocks are set one hour back this weekend, to better employ daylight.
Such rules are not without controversy, however, as many see the move as archaic and largely unnecessary.
