You may take the umbrella with you if you’re out and about this weekend, if Met Eireann’s prediction is anything to go by.
The national forecaster has issued a Status Yellow warning for heavy rain, saying that up to 50mm of rain might fall on some areas over the next 48 hours.
The warning includes nine counties. The whole of Munster, plus Galway, Mayo and Sligo. Polar air is expected from early next week – the joys of winter, eh!
