Get the winter coat out – Ireland’s temperatures set to plummet from tomorrow

Ireland has seen some beautiful weather this past summer and a very mild Autumn.

Forecasters say temperatures are going to dramatically drop from tomorrow with severe frost and icy conditions expected.

Britain has been forecast to see temperatures of -4c with Ireland not much warmer.

A severe easterly wind from the eastern Europe is expected to make its way here by Wednesday with temperatures expected to drop well below 0C at night time.

Rain is expected in patches but the main issue with the weather this week will be up to a 10c shift in temperatures from midweek on.
