Gingers Unite: Unicode confirms plans to introduce redhead emojis in 2018

There have been a lot of emojis created over the years that has left us spreading messages of joy, anger and sorrow over the web in picture form.

But now it seems people who have red hair could be next in line to receive a visual representation of themselves as Unicode have confirmed that the red hair or ginger emoji will be released next year people.

The emoji which will come sometime in 2018 on devices and applications such as Facebook and Whatsapp, is part of new group of 67 emoticons currently being developed by software engineers.

Although there have been a large range of emojis over the years many manufactures such as Apple have been criticised by the public for not showcasing the ginger emoji especially as there is a wide variety of hairstyle emojis already available.

It is expected that the latest addition will be welcomed by many who have the common hair colour with many feeling the move was a must given that there is an overwhelming support for it to be introduced.
