There was good news for residents of Athlone after the international courier company DPD Ireland officially open its newly-expanded facility earlier today.
The company which currently employs over 1,000 people throughout Ireland, unveiled it’s plans to create a further 200 jobs at its new facility in the midlands.
Although the company already filled 100 positions, they say the remaining 100 posts will be filled by the end of this year.
