There was some good news for Leaving Cert students as the State Examinations Commission confirmed that two extra days will be added to next year’s written exams timetable.
In an announcement made on Wednesday, The State Examination Commission confirmed that next summer’s exam timetable will consist of 15 days rather than the usual 13 days.
It is believed the changes have been made after a number of students were forced to sit three exams in one day due to time constraints.
The Examination Commission say the new changes will now give students more time to prepare and will be less stressful whilst they take their exams.
