There was good news announced for mobile phone users recently as the EU parliament agreed a deal with phone operators throughout Europe to abolish roaming charges.
The new deal which could be introduced later this would allow all operators to use each others networks at capped rate.
The EU parliament also say the agreement will be cost effective to tourists as they will be able to use their mobile phones throughout the continent for the same cost as they pay at home.
It is expected the agreement will be implemented by mid summer, with mobile calls costing 3.2 cent per minute, whilst texts will cost you back 1 cent each.
