There was some good news for recently recruited teachers as the Department of Education have confirmed they have written to school managers informing them of pay increase for all newly employed teachers.
It is thought the letter informs all school management about the increases, which will be implemented in January 1st next year.
Although the pay increase only applies to those who accepted the Lansdowne Road Agreement, with members of the TUI and INTO unions are set to benefit.
