There will be good news for over 400,000 Medical Card holders tomorrow as prescription charges will be reduced from tomorrow.
The news comes after the Government recently announced that 400,000 people over the age of 70 will be entitled to the charges cut from tomorrow onwards.
It is understood that those aged over 70, and their dependents will see their charges reduced from €2.50 to €2.00 per item with the maximum monthly limit being €20 per person.
