A Cork family has scooped a cheque for €153,240 from National Lottery Headquarters after their five numbers plus the bonus number on last Wednesday’s Lotto proved incredibly lucky.
The winning family want to remain anonymous, but they allegedly told the shop where the ticket was sold that they’re a family who are barely able to pay their bills and that this win will literally change their lives forever.
The ticket was purchased as Quick Pick selection ticket at Buckley’s Kiosk in Merchant’s Quay Shopping Centre on Patrick’s Street in Cork City on June 1st.
