The Irish Government has once again abandoned its most vulnerable citizens, as it has been confirmed that there will be no increase of the fuel allowance.
The worst blizzards in living memory are about to be unleashed across Ireland, yet the Government has seen to it that the paltry fuel allowance is not increased. Yet, this democratic wannabes are advising the elderly to leave their heating on “24/7” to stay warm.
A spokesperson for charity Age Action has said that lack of proper heating is a contributing factor to the deaths of up to 2,000 elderly people every winter.
