One of the country’s cheapest retailers are about to up their game in attempt to take on one of Ireland’s cheapest clothing retailers.
The company behind the latest attempt Dealz have announced plans to sell clothing items through its upcoming Pep&Co stores which will be located at 30 of the company’s stores nationwide.
In what will be a direct rival to Penneys, Dealz say their clothing items will be relatively cheap and the new stores will create in the region of 120 jobs.
In a statement a spokesman for Dealz said they hope the latest adventure which will be initially rolled out at 10 stores in early 2018 will give the Irish consumer an alternative when it comes to purchasing quality clothing at low prices.
Dealz say they hope to have the Pep&Co at a further 20 stores by the end of the summer with plans for further expansion later in the year.
