An Irish woman who was reported missing in London earlier this week has been found safe and well, police in London have confirmed.
The woman 78 year old Bridget Ann McLaughlin, was found by police officers at Godders Green Train Station on Friday afternoon.
Ms McLaughlin an Achill native was the subject of a widespread appeal after police confirmed that the Alzheimer’s patient had went missing from her home in Hayes in London, on Wednesday, April 4.
However thankfully after a nationwide appeal and a search operation a Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed that Ms McLaughlin was found safe and well on Friday afternoon.
