Many people going on holidays will either have to reschedule or make alternative arrangements after it’s been confirmed that some Ryanair pilots in Ireland will stage two more days of strike action next week.
The Irish Airline Pilots’ Association branch of Fórsa have announced that the strikes will take place on Friday 20 and Tuesday 24 July.
There’s a standoff between the airline and its Irish pilots after they held a 24-hour strike yesterday which RTE report that the airline said got them nowhere and that if they want to continue with further strikes, then so be it.
25% of Ryanair’s Irish-based pilots went on strike yesterday over their conditions of employment after talks between both sides broke down yesterday, the picket line is a first for Ryanair’s Irish pilots.
