Police authorities in Sydney Australia have launched an investigation after an Irish tourist was reported missing this week.
The widespread investigation comes after the man Craig Lambe 25, from Dublin, failed to return to his accommodation in the Kingsford area, which is located approximately 7km southeast of the city this week.
It is understood Craig’s disappearence was reported after his family grew increasingly concerned after he failed to contact his travelling partner on Monday after he went out to look for work in the area.
Craig is described as being tall and slim with dark hair and a dark beard.
When was last seen wearing denim shorts and a black backpack.
The last reported sighting of Craig was on Monday at approximately 12:30 pm when he was seen on Middle Street in Kingsford about 12.30pm on Monday.
Meanwhile New South Wales Police have said they have begun an investigation into Craig’s disappearence after they received a call from a concerned family member who said his sudden disappearance was completely out of character.
Police say they have put out a public notice in the area in order for the public to help in their investigations.
