Halloween is traditionally a very busy time for fire and other emergency services, but this year the blazing pandemonium seems to have kicked off that bit early.
Dublin dispatchers are said to be receiving a flurry of calls, as many as a dozen each every few minutes.
A large bonfire is reportedly ablaze in an area of Smithfield, fire services are in attendance.
One union has issued a plea for the public ‘not to attack or harass emergency services in any way’ this Halloween evening.
