There was further bad news for commuters in Dublin this afternoon after Dublin Bus announced that there will be no services on Friday.
In announcment made this afternoon Dublin Bus said all buses scheduled to run on Friday will not be operational throughout the day and services are not expected to resume until Saturday at the earliest.
The statement reads as follows: “Due to the Red Weather Warning in place until 15.00 tomorrow for blizzard conditions and further snow accumulations, combined with anticipated road conditions, Dublin Bus will not be in a position to operate any services tomorrow, Friday 2 March.”
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused, however this decision has been made in the interest of the safety of our customers and employees.”
Dublin Bus say they will provide further updates on Friday in regards to the weekends services.
