Thousands of people have lined the streets of the capital and are waiting for the annual St. Parade’s Day parade to begin.
Star Wars actor Mark Hamill who played Luke Skywalker in the multi-billionaire euro movie franchise will be at the parade and actor Liam Cunningham will be this year’s parade marshall.
Although temperatures are extremely cold this year, thousands have braved the elements along with tourists from around the world visiting Ireland for the St. Patrick’s Day festivities.
Gardai say the atmosphere is very good with no reports of any incidents reported today so far.
