The Minister for Health Simon Harris has claimed that all graduating nurses and midwives will be offered full-time contracts here in Ireland.
30-yr-old Harris was speaking at the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation annual conference in Wexford when he made the claim that the Health Service will be directly contacting student nurses and midwives in the coming days to tell them exactly how he intends to do this.
Harris said that he intends to reverse the cuts that have been imposed over the last couple of years.
