The Minister for Health Minister Simon Harris has said he is not worried whether or not he will be dropped from his position in Cabinet if Leo Varadkar is elected as the next Taoiseach
Minister Harris who speaking about his current action plan earlier today said he is not losing any sleep over his political future and that consistency is needed given the current problems the health sector is facing.
The health minister said he’s is fully focused on the job at hand he will fulfil his obligations.
Mr Harris said: “I have a very busy agenda in the department of health and I’m working through as many issues as I can.”
“Creating an autism strategy, trying to hire 1,200 new nurses and putting in place a 10-year plan with the opposition so that we can actually agree on health issues.”
“We have a very packed agenda and whoever is the leader of the Fine Gael party will have to make choices.”
