Heartbreaking: A couple left their dog to die in -30 degrees outside an airport because she wasn’t allowed to board  flight

A couple left their dog outside a Russian airport after being told she could not fly with them to Germany.

Oksana and Alexander Urusov had not completed the required paperwork to take their dog Tori with them; Instead they left their small pet outside in temperatures of -30 degrees.

Tori was found frozen to death after three days in a secluded section of the airport grounds.

A petition to bring the cruel couple to justice has already received 7,000 signatures from angered locals.

The couple had the audacity to report their dog missing writing an appeal saying:

“We are looking for our little dog, she is white with a flick of ginger.

“Our children can’t stop crying, please can you help? We’re ready to pay a fine.

“We had to leave her at the airport…they didn’t take her on board at check-in when we were flying to Hamburg to see our children.”

Dmitry Tyukhtin, spokesman for Koltsovo airport in Yekaterinburg, said he “could not believe a human could do that to a dog”.

He added: “If only we knew about the problem, at least the dog would be alive. The weather was so cold on those days.

“Tori was left in an area where there are usually no people. If she was to be left closer to or inside the terminal, the dog would have been rescued.”
