A 4 year old girl has sadly died following a drowning accident in Marbella it has been revealed.
The tragic incident occurred in Golden Mile area of the city on Saturday morning.
It is believed the young girl fell into the pool which was on the grounds of a private villa.
Although attempts were made to save the girl, local authorities confirmed that the girl sadly died at the scene.
The Department of Foreign Affairs have confirmed they are providing assistance to the girl’s family.
