There was some tragic news announced over the past 24 hours as the Department of Foreign affairs confirmed that a two year old boy has tragically died in accident in the Maldives.
It is understood the young tot sadly lost his life in after he drowned in a pool at popular resort on Monday whilst he was holidaying with his parents.
A spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs has said they are currently working with Maldives authorities and say they have provided counsellor assistance to the boy’s family.
