Police authorities in Wales have yet determine how many casualties there are in a house fire that claimed the lives of father and his children.
According to reports in the UK it is understood the man a father of seven named locally as David Cuthberston aged 68 died after the devastating blaze ripped through their farmhouse in Llangammarch Wells, Powys, as they slept.
Police who are still investigating the incident say they are unable to determine how many people have been killed in the fire due to the extent of the damage caused.
However they have revealed that three of the children, aged 13, 12, and 10, respectively did manage to escape the house unharmed after neighbours raised the alarm.
Although police have confirmed that ‘a number of people’ are still missing and feared dead, they do say it could take a number of days to determine how many casualties there were in the fire as fire services are still working to clear the fallen debris at the house.
