Police in the UK searching for a missing mother and her five-year-old son have sadly confirmed that they have found their bodies in a reservoir.
The devastating news comes as Emma Sillett, 41, and little Jenson Spellman were reported missing after they were last seen at a McDonald’s branch in Hattersley, Greater Manchester, on Tuesday.
Following an extensive search Derbyshire Police confirmed that they discovered Ms Sillett’s car near Valehouse reservoir, close to Tintwistle.
Although the identity of the bodies has yet to be confirmed, police say they believe the bodies are that of Ms Sillett and little Jenson.
They added that they do not believe that anyone else was involved in their deaths, but an investigation is currently ongoing.
