Gardai in Co Tipperary have confirmed that a four year old girl has been killed following a tragic accident in Knockbrack over the weekend.
It’s understood the young girl sadly lost her life after a fireplace fell on top of her whilst she was visiting a house that was under renovation work with her mother on Saturday.
The young girl sadly died a short time later in hospital after emergency services quickly brought her from the scene of the accident to the University Hospital Limerick.
Gardai say they are treating the young girls death as a freak accident.
