Heartbreaking: Anna Rozycka holds cuddly toy as she says her final goodbye to her little darling Karol
24-yr-old Anna gave one last kiss to Karol’s little coffin before the start of the “Mass of the Angels” in the town of Ochaby in Poland yesterday afternoon.
Tragically 11-month-old Karol was found dead in an apartment in Killarney, Co Kerry last Sunday by his distaught mum.
In a horrible set of circumstances, it’s believed the little baby had been asphyxiated.
A large photograph of Karol, which depicted him playing on the floor with some fruit, was placed next to the coffin in front of the congregation.
The family members stood under umbrellas by their little darling’s graveside where Anna was comforted by relatives.
A mass was held during the week in Killarney for the baby and his family.
The emotionally drained mother buried her son 11-month old son just weeks before what would have been his first birthday on April 17.
A man in his 30s who was found with the baby and had horrific injuries himself, also died during the week. An inquest is ongoing.
