Heartwarming: Watch as a delighted Bride gets to dance with her 13 year old disabled son after step-dad builds harness device 




Every Bride to be knows there is nothing more important than having family members attending her big day to celebrate​ a new chapter in her and her partners future happiness. However for some bride’s the thought of dancing with her children on her big day is a dream that cannot be matched, and for one mother that dream became a reality when she got to dance with her disabled son on her day of happiness.

The delighted and emotional mum Jo Atrill from Ilminster, Somerset in the UK, was given a day that she will never forget when she got to dance with her disabled son Alex aged 13, at her wedding recently.

Young Alex who suffers from cerebral palsy got to give his mum and future husband the picture perfect moment when they took to the dancefloor with a little help from his step-dad Martin.

The video of the heartwarming and touching moment has since become a vital hit in recent days as it has been viewed almost 1 million times and shared by thousands online.

The beautiful moment which will surely bring a tear of joy to many of an eye, was captured last month and came about after Jo’s husband Martin spent months planning the surprise she would never forget.

The devoted partner and stepfather secretly spent weeks hand-making a special harness to hold Alex up whilst he and his mum danced together on their special day.

Speaking to ITV West Country Martin said: ‘It was incredible to see Jo’s reaction. It was quite difficult to remain standing upright when Jo started to cry.’

‘At one point when we were looking around the room the whole room had just broken down and we realised that maybe I had nailed the wedding at that point.’

Meanwhile an emotional Jo told the broadcaster: ‘There’s certainly been many times in the last five years I didn’t think he would be here anymore.

‘To be there, at my wedding, to have a new family to be part of and to be able to do something I had never even comtemplated.

‘I would say it was the best moment of my life evver’
