If you plan on heading out and about this weekend or just relaxing in the comfort of your own back garden you will be more than happy to hear that the country is set to experience glorious weather from Saturday onwards.
According to Met Eireann the vast majority of the country will experience sunshine with temperatures set to be in the low to mid 20s in most places.
The national forecaster has said the Midlands will see the best of the weather as there will be little to no wind in land that could see temperatures’ soaring above 22C.
However if you live in coastal regions it will be slightly cooler as the sea breeze will reduce temperatures’ to the high teens. Sunday will also be relatively warm although showers are expected to sweep across the country starting in the West in the early afternoon.
Meanwhile the outlook for next week could see much of the same as Met Eireann say more normal seasonal conditions will return.
