A return to more seasonal weather could be on the horizon as Met Eireann say temperatures are expected to pick up by next weekend.
In what will be a mixed week ahead, the national forecaster say temperatures could very well reach a rather pleasant 19c.
The current outlook which forecasts relatively cooler conditions in the early part of the week, with temperatures ranging between 7-13c could very well change by Friday as Met Eireann say warmer spell of weather is expected over the coming bank holiday weekend.
Although temperatures are expected to rise later in the week, the forecaster say wide spread showers will be frequent throughout the week and will continue into the early part of the weekend.
Met Eireann also say temperatures overnight are expected to remain relatively low throughout the weekend ranging from 2-5c.
